Meet the Team

Mark Speck, M.A.T, M.B.A

Mark was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 10 and has spent decades learning how to navigate T1D through school, sports, work, family life, and leadership. As a former Division 1 football player at the University of Oregon, educator, coach, and school leader, he brings a practical, motivating approach that helps clients build confidence, independence, and better routines.

He works with young adults, families, athletes, and individuals who want to better understand their diabetes, improve daily management, and make the most of their care team and technology.

In addition to coaching, Mark serves on the board of Type 1 Oregon, keeping up with his two daughters, and enjoying the Oregon outdoors.
